2.0 GENERAL
2.1 The following apply to and govern the PRO•LINE FANTASY Lottery Game offered by the Corporation in participating Atlantic Provinces. To the extent of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these documents, they shall be interpreted in accordance with the following order of precedence:
a) The Rules and Regulations of the Corporation, with necessary modifications;
b) these Rules and Regulations;
c) conditions, explanations and instructions appearing on PRO•LINE FANTASY selection slips, games lists, How to Play content and tickets;
d) terms or conditions governing play on ALC.ca or ProlineStadium.com (or any replacement sites);
2.2 The Corporation may amend these Rules at any time and in any manner.
2.3 The Corporation, in its sole discretion, may at any time refuse to issue tickets bearing any Selection or refuse to issue tickets based on the Payout Threshold. The Player will receive an error message at retail or online when the projected payout on the ticket is greater than the Payout Threshold.
2.4 The Corporation, in its sole discretion, may delay entering the Results of any Event.
2.5 All Results entered by Atlantic Lottery Corporation are final. The Corporation does not recognize protests, overturned decisions or amended results for wagering purposes. All Results are final as entered, when entered.
2.6 The Corporation may, in its sole discretion, suspend sales (temporarily or permanently) on an Event.
2.7 Any Event where one (1) or more Selections commenced prior to the issuance of a ticket which included a Wager on that Event may, with respect to such ticket, be “Past Posted” (have an Odds value of 1.00 assigned to all Outcomes for that Event).
2.8 PRO•LINE FANTASY is not associated with, sponsored, or authorized by any professional sports league or association, member teams, players or other affiliates in any way.
2.9 The Corporation, in its sole discretion, can change the Odds, for any Event at any time. The Odds posted to the Player‘s receipt at time of purchase will be official for that Wager except where cancellations and past postings apply.
2.10 In the event of any discrepancy between published game information and Odds, and the official game information and Odds available from the Corporation, the latter shall prevail.
2.11 The Corporation, in its sole discretion, may cancel an Event entered in error, with Odds values for all possible Outcomes set to be 1.00, in cases such as (but not limited to):
a) The Selections within a Group do not participate within the Points Accumulation Period listed on the Event;
b) One or more Selections within a Group are not relevant to the type of Group listed;
c) The Accumulation Period allows for one or more Selections to participate in more events than the other selection(s), unless otherwise indicated in the description on the wagering list;
2.13 If the name of a player or team has been spelled incorrectly, bets placed will stand.
2.14 Selections will be cancelled, with the Odds for those Selections reverting to 1.00, should they not meet the minimum participation rules for their respective Group types:
a) For Baseball Hitters, this means at least one (1) completed plate appearance (an at-bat where the batter completes his plate appearance with an out or reaches, at least, first base safely) during the Points Accumulation period. For Pitchers, this means facing at least one (1) batter who completes a plate appearance;
b) For Football, this means a participant listed as active (does not appear on the inactive list) on the date the corresponding game is played;
c) For Hockey and Basketball, this means the Selection played at least one second in the game;
d) For Racing Events, this means the Selection started the race;
e) For Golf, this means the Selection has started (teed off for) the round(s) applicable to the Points Accumulation Period.
2.15 If more than one third of a Group’s Selections are cancelled, the entire Group will be cancelled with all Selections within that Group assigned Odds of 1.00.
2.16 PRO•LINE FANTASY scoring is based on the accumulation of Fantasy Points by each Selection in the Group, in which selected statistical categories are assigned values as determined by the Corporation. The breakdown of these point values are available to the customer through the ProlineStadium.com website or will be made available upon request to the Corporation.
2.17 All statistics used to calculate PRO•LINE FANTASY points include those accumulated during Extra Play, with exceptions listed under 3.0 Rules by Sport.
2.18 Groups involving Selections impacted by Suspended or Postponed Events shall be resulted using the same Rules that PRO•LINE applies to these situations.
2.19 In the case where two (2) or more Selections within a Group have the same winning Results, the Dead Heat rule will apply. In the case of a Dead Heat, each of the Odds for the winning Selections is divided by the number of tied Selections to determine the value of the winning Odds. If the amount that is determined to be the payout for the Selection after the division is less than 1.00, the Odds applied will be 1.00.
2.20 The Corporation, in its sole discretion, may Cancel a Selection (reverting its Odds to 1.00) if the Player listed has the same name as, and could reasonably be confused with, another active Player who is eligible to accumulate FANTASY points within the same statistical category.
2.21 Fantasy In-Progress scores are updated on Prolinestadium.com under Scores and Stats and are meant to help Players track their Selections’ progress. These scores are not official Results.
3.0 RULES BY SPORT
For conditions not specifically listed in these Rules (3.0), General rules (2.0) will apply.
Information on calculating Fantasy points can be found under How to Play on Prolinestadium.com
3.1 HOCKEY
In Hockey, shootouts are not included in PRO•LINE FANTASY point accumulation with the exception of assigning points for a win or a loss as it pertains to Goalie Groups.
Hockey Goalie Groups will be displayed on the PRO•LINE FANTASY List using team names. Any Goalie who plays for the team identified in the Group will have their stats count towards the Selection’s final point tally. Therefore, if a goalie change is made during an Accumulation Period, all goalies stats will count towards the Team total.
3.2 FOOTBALL
Currently there are no exceptions to the information found under Rule 2.0 (General), the Fantasy Scoring page, and the PRO•LINE FANTASY Event List.
3.3 BASKETBALL
Currently there are no exceptions to the information found under Rule 2.0 (General), the Fantasy Scoring page, and the PRO•LINE FANTASY Event List.
3.4 BASEBALL
Baseball Hitters involved in a double header, unless otherwise specified on the PRO•LINE FANTASY Event List, will be cancelled during Results entry.
The continuation of a Suspended game does not count as being part of a double header. Results will be entered as per these Rules, where points earned during the continuation of a suspended game will count towards the accumulation period of the originally scheduled game.
3.5 GOLF
Groups offered for individual rounds of Golf on PRO•LINE FANTASY do not include Extra Play.
Fantasy scoring for Golf awards competitors with the lowest stroke total as the winning Outcome for the Group. Dead heat Rules apply for ties.
3.6 RACING
Fantasy scoring for Racing awards competitors with the best placement in the race as the winning Outcome for the Group. Dead heat Rules apply for ties.
AUTO RACING
Auto-racing is based on team competition. The team is identified by the driver for that team. The driver indicated on the PRO•LINE FANTASY List must start the race but may be replaced during the race with another driver from the same team. Any driver(s) not starting the race will have their odds set to 1.00. The winner is determined by the Corporation in accordance with the following order or priority:
(a) The team with the higher finishing position in the race will win the Group;
(b) If only one team in the Group is credited with a finishing position, that team shall be declared the winner of the Group;
(c) If no team in the Group is credited with a finishing position, the team with more completed laps than the other shall be declared the winner of the Group.
Final Results include penalties or disqualifications incurred during and / or after the race by any driver. PRO•LINE FANTASY results will not be entered by the Corporation until the official governing body declares the results as official.
HORSE RACING
Horse Racing Selections are specific to the horse. In the event of a jockey change all wagers will stand. Horses listed in a PROLINE FANTASY Group must start the race for bets to stand. Horses which do not start the race will be treated as Cancelled Selections with the Odds for those Outcomes reverting to 1.00. The winner is determined by the Corporation in accordance with the following order or priority:
(a) The horse with the higher finishing position in the race will win the Group;
(b) If only one horse in the group is credited with a finishing position, that Selection shall be declared the winner of the Group;
Final Results include penalties or disqualifications incurred during and / or after the race by any horse / jockey. PRO•LINE FANTASY results will not be entered by the Corporation until the official governing body declares the results as official.
CYCLING
When a Player selects a Cycling Event, the racer indicated on the PRO•LINE FANTASY List must start the race for bets on that Selection to stand. Any cyclists which do not start the race will be treated as Cancelled Selections with the Odds for those Outcomes reverting to 1.00.
Winning Outcomes are determined using the final results for the General (Time) Classification placements upon completion of the race. Should one or more cyclists fail to complete the race, placement is determined by the cyclist with the most completed stages. Competitor placement for cyclists with the same number of completed stages will be determined using the General Placement standings from the official governing body of the race at the time of the last completed stage.
4.0 COMBINATION PLAY
4.1 Combination Play or Combo Play is a feature where a Player can break down an original PRO•LINE FANTASY Selection into smaller Selections. This is completed by checking the desired combo play box on the selection slip or checking the desired combo play box on the wagering section of the PRO•LINE Stadium website.
For example: A Player selects the following 3 pick ticket for a $2 Wager
Original Wager:
Group 01-Selection 1; Group 02-Selection 2; Group 03-Selection 3
By choosing to play “Combo to 2 picks”, the Player will also receive the following selections on the same ticket. These are determined by using the 3 original Selections and creating all the possible 2 parlay ticket combinations.
Group 01, Selection 1; Group 02, Selection 2;
Group 01, Selection 1; Group 03, Selection 3;
Group 02, Selection 2; Group 03, Selection 3;
In this example, the total Wager placed will be $8. This is $2 for the original three (3) pick parlay, and $6 for the three (3) additional two (2) pick parlays.
4.2 In Combination Play, as is described above, a Player does not have to win all the Wagers on the ticket to have a Winning ticket. This is because 4 different sets of Wagers were created that are all independent of each other, therefore all have a different prize payout based on that combination on the parlay. In the example above, if Group 01 Selection 1 wins it’s group ,Group 02 selection 2 wins it’s group and Group 03 Selection 1 wins it’s group, the ticket above will have one (1) winning set of Selections of the four (4) listed and the Corporation will pay the one (1) winning set of Selections.
4.3 In Combination Play, the Corporation will limit the total Wager on a Combination ticket to $250. If the Selection and its Combination components have a combined total Wager of over $250, the Selection will be rejected.
5.0 GAME PARTICIPATION
5.1 Persons under the age of 19 shall not participate in this Lottery Game.
5.2 At Retail, a Player shall make his Selections in the manner provided in the Instructions and present the completed selection slip, or QR code, to a Retailer and pay to the Retailer the selected Wager amount (from $2 to $25) prior to the Cut-off time of the earliest Event selected.
5.3 Players must select between a minimum of two (2) Events and a maximum of five (5) Events.
5.4 After marking the selection slip, or digital Bet Card, the Player shall deliver the selection slip, or QR code, and pay the Wager to a Retailer who shall, in such manner as the Corporation determines, communicate to the Corporation the Player's Selections. Upon receipt of the information, the Corporation shall review the Player Selections, deliver to the Retailer and the Retailer shall deliver to the Player a ticket which shall: (a) constitute a receipt for payment; (b) record the Player's predicted outcomes of the Events selected; (c) provide a unique control number for that ticket; (d) indicate the Wager; (e) record the dates of the Events selected; (f) provide the current associated Odds for each such Event; (g) indicate the potential prize payout; (h) show the PRO•LINE List number, and; (i) any other pertinent information as determined by the Corporation and is subject to change.
5.5 A QR code generated for wagering purposes is not a ticket.
5.6 Tickets should be reviewed before leaving the retail location to ensure all the picks were correct. Tickets may only be cancelled within 20 minutes of purchase, at the same retail location, and before the start time of the earliest game listed on the ticket.
5.7 If playing PRO•LINE FANTASY using an internet account, a Player shall make his Selections in the manner provided in the Instructions and submit the Selection through the internet prior to the Cut-off time of the earliest Event selected. Once submitted, online purchases can’t be cancelled for a refund.
5.8 In the event of conflicting, misprinted, or erroneous Event Results, the Results, as determined by the Corporation, shall be final and binding upon all Players.
