Ghostbusters Spectral Search

The object of Ghostbusters Spectral Search is to collect a set of identical ghosts (specters) to fill a row in the prize table. Slimer may appear and award additional prizes.

The gameplay window appears, displaying instructions on how to play the game. Select the TICKET COST by pressing the + or - arrows, then press BUY to continue. The game shows a prize table with rows of ghosts and the Spectral Processing Optical Operation Kit (S.P.O.O.K.) sensor is displayed.

Press the arrows to cycle through the locations available to sweep for ghosts. Each room displays the different specters available available for collection in that room. Press SELECT to choose a room. Or, press AUTO SEARCH to have the game select a location and play the game automatically. Press STOP at any time to continue to play the game manually.

Once a location is selected, a grid is displayed in the gameplay window. Select five of the grid squares to reveal ghosts. If a ghost is found, the game checks a box in the prize table to indicate the collection of that ghost. Complete a set of ghosts on the prize table to win that ghost’s prize. If Slimer appears in the grid, an instant win prize is awarded.

Each game provides two locations to sweep for ghosts, with five grid selections per location.

Play ends when both selected locationsd have been swept for ghosts. A message appears, showing the game’s outcome.
