In each Atlantic province, one Community Game Changer will be selected to direct a $25,000 donation to a not-for‑profit or charitable cause close to their heart. To recognize their time and dedication, each recipient will also receive two VIP passes to an Atlantic Lottery sponsored festival or event in 2027.
1. Think of someone making an impact in your local community. It could be a volunteer in their community, someone involved with charitable groups, a founder/leader of community-driven organizations or a changemaker of any kind. It could even be you! Nominations are open for both self-nominations or the nominations of others.
2. Complete the nomination form available by clicking the button below. Not sure you have all the details? That’s okay. We’ll contact the nominee by email to let them know they’ve been nominated and collect any additional information needed.
3. Submit your nomination before the deadline: June 15, 2026.

Absolutely! We encourage both self-nominations and the nomination of others for the Community Game Changers program.
That’s okay! As per the program terms and conditions, Atlantic Lottery will validate nominations submitted on the behalf of others by emailing the nominee and requesting them to fill out the nomination form themselves. If they choose to complete the nomination form, this will provide their consent to participate in the program and ensure the Atlantic Lottery panel has all the information required to evaluate the submission. If they do not fill out the nomination form to provide their consent and the outstanding information, they will not proceed to the evaluation portion of the program.
An internal panel of Atlantic Lottery employees will evaluate all nominations received using pre-determined criteria. Full details are available in the terms and conditions.

Yes! We’ll provide a list of the festivals and events being sponsored by Atlantic Lottery in 2027 and the selected Community Game Changers will each get to choose the one they would like to attend.
The charity must be registered with a valid Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) registration number, be located within Atlantic Canada and be in good standing as of the date that the charity is selected by the winner.
Selected Community Game Changers will be expected to have their photos shared and be announced publicly. Atlantic Lottery will host a celebration event to announce the selected Community Game Changers and the causes they champion. Think of it as good visibility for your charity of choice, as you will be representing them and the important work they do.
Selected Community Game Changers will be notified on August 10, 2026, or as close as possible thereafter. Atlantic Lottery will publicly announce the selected Community Game Changers and the charities they champion in September 2026.
