What is SMS/text messaging?
Text Messaging, (or texting), is a short message that is typed and sent, or received, on your cell phone. You can use text messaging as a fast and convenient way to receive lottery updates from ALC.
What about SPAM and keeping my number private?
You will not receive any SPAM messages from third party companies and your number will be kept private. You will only receive official messages from the Atlantic Lottery Corporation.
How can I learn to text?
Your mobile network operator will be able to assist you on how to text message. Below are also some online guides that you can check out to find out more about texting.

What is a Short Code phone number?
Text message services run on a special phone number called a Short Code. This is a short phone number such as 252252 (ALCALC).
Is there a charge for this service?
This is not a premium service. You will only be charged your standard messaging rates.
How do I opt out of the service?
To opt out any service simply reply to the message with the word STOP at anytime or send the word STOP as a new text message to 252252. You can also opt out by un-checking the specific service(s) in My Mobile in eClub.
What mobile carrier networks is the service available on?
The service is available in Atlantic Canada on the following carriers: ALIANT Mobility BELL Mobility FIDO ROGERS Wireless TELUS Mobility VIRGIN Mobile Canada
